How to maintain PET preform injection molding machine? 5 tips to extend the life of PET preform equipment

1. Standardized maintenance inspection
Check the hydraulic oil volume of the PET preform injection molding machine every day to ensure that the oil level is at the upper limit of the oil mark, and add hydraulic oil when it is insufficient. Monitor the oil temperature to maintain it within the standard range, regularly check the oil quality, and replace it immediately if the color becomes darker or the viscosity is abnormal. Check whether the cooling water pipeline is unobstructed, clean the filter screen every day to prevent scale clogging, and avoid abnormal increase in mold and oil temperature.

2. Professional mold maintenance
After the production of the PET preform injection molding machine, thoroughly clean the mold cavity, guide column, ejector pin and other parts, spray rust inhibitor and apply high-temperature grease. Regularly check the hot runner system, clean the carbon deposits on the thermocouple and heating tube, and ensure the accuracy of the temperature control system. Replace the wear parts such as guide pins and wear-resistant plates in time, and equip spare valve needles and sealing rings to deal with sudden failures.

3. Optimization of hydraulic and electrical systems
Check the operating status of the hydraulic pump and motor, tighten the terminal, and avoid short circuit caused by poor contact. Replace the hydraulic oil filter as required to prevent metal debris from contaminating the system and extend the life of hydraulic components.

4. Standardized operating procedures
Preheat the barrel to the set temperature before starting the machine, and keep it warm for more than 30 minutes to eliminate thermal stress. When shutting down, empty the residual material in the barrel and close the mold to a slightly open state to avoid long-term compression and deformation of the toggle mechanism.

5. Environmental control and personnel management
Maintain constant temperature and humidity in the workshop (recommended temperature 20-25℃, humidity ≤60%) to prevent condensed water from corroding the circuit. Operators receive maintenance training every month to master skills such as lubrication point distribution and fault code interpretation to reduce human operating errors.
